Editing for Footage You Already Own

Video Editing Services in Denver

Conference sessions, event recaps, interviews, reels and wedding films, cut by the crew that films them every week

Send us the footage and the brief. We edit in 4K, cut your slides into speaker videos, build highlight reels and vertical cuts, and deliver digitally with two rounds of revisions on business projects. Based in Denver, editing for clients anywhere.

What We Edit

Most of our editing-only work falls into six buckets. If yours is not here, ask. If it was shot on a camera or a phone, we can probably cut it.

Conference and Session Footage

Keynotes and breakouts from your own cameras or an AV company’s recording. We sync the angles, cut in the slides, clean up the audio and deliver each session as its own video, plus a highlight reel if you want one. See conference video production for the shoot-and-edit version.

Event Recaps and Highlight Reels

Galas, fundraisers, launches and expos. A 60 to 120 second recap built from your footage, timed to licensed music, with sponsor logos and titles where you need them. Our event video page shows the finished form.

Interviews, Testimonials and Promos

Interview footage turned into a finished promotional or testimonial video, with B-roll, lower thirds and your brand colors.

Social Media Reels and Vertical Cuts

Horizontal footage reframed to 9:16 for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. We scope the number of cuts up front and deliver sized for each platform. More on the social media reels page.

Drone and B-Roll Packages

Aerial clips and B-roll from your shoot or ours, color matched and cut into a sequence your in-house team can drop into their own edits. See drone videography.

Wedding Films from Raw Footage

A friend filmed the day, or a previous videographer handed over the files. We cut a highlight film, the full ceremony and the toasts from what you have, the same deliverables as our wedding packages.

How an Editing-Only Project Works

1. Send the footage

Google Drive, Dropbox or a hard drive. We can review the available footage and let you know what the options are and what is possible. We cannot make VHS look like 4K footage.

2. Agree on Deliverables

Finished length, where it will play, logos, fonts and slides, and the date you need it. We set the price and the delivery date from that.

3. Review online

You watch the first cut on a private link and send revision notes in an email.

4. Delivery

Final files delivered digitally through Google Drive.

Each of these was shot and edited by Autumn Leaves Video Productions. The editing is what you get on footage you bring.

What Video Editing Costs

Editing-only work is quoted from the footage and the deliverables, not a day rate. Three things move the number:

  • Hours of footage. Twelve hours of media is a different job from a forty minute interview.
  • What we are making. One highlight reel, every session as its own video with the slides cut in, a set of vertical reels, or all of the above.
  • Graphics and extras. Slides and logos are part of the edit. Captions and subtitles quoted separately. We use music we purchase the license and rights to use.

If you want us to film as well: Most conference, event and corporate video work lands between $800 and $4,000. Multi day or out of state projects may be outside that range. Send a link to the footage and a sentence on what you need, and you get a quote with a delivery date.

Video Editing FAQ

Maybe, it depends on who owns the media. If the original videographer owns the media we cannot touch it. If you own the media we can proceed. Phones, mirrorless cameras, an AV company’s recording of the stage, GoPros, drone clips: send what you have. We will tell you up front if the footage limits what the edit can be.

Any standard camera or phone format. Share a Google Drive or Dropbox folder, or drop a hard drive with us in Denver. Keep the original files; exports from an editing app lose quality.

We set a delivery date when we scope the project, based on the hours of footage and the number of finished videos. Conference and event review copies normally land in one to two weeks.

Business projects include two rounds of revisions. You review online and send notes in one place; after the second round, extra rounds are quoted. Please send notes within 60 days of receiving the review copy.

Yes, as a separate line item. Captions and subtitles are quoted with the project rather than included by default.

Yes. Send the slide deck and brand files and we cut the slides into the speaker videos in sync with the talk, add lower thirds, and open and close with your branding.

All music we use in our videos is purchased through Artlist.io. This subscription service includes licenses to use the music for commercial purposes. We purchase the songs, not you.

Yes. We reframe the 16:9 edit to 9:16 for Instagram Reels and TikTok, and 1:1 on request, sized for each platform.
