What We Film at the Colorado Convention Center
Keynotes & General Sessions
Multi-camera capture in the Mile High Ballroom, Four Seasons Ballroom or Bellco Theatre, with house audio and each presentation edited into its own video with slides added in post.
Exhibit Hall & Trade Show Floor
Roaming coverage across the exhibit halls, exhibitor and sponsor booth clips, product demos and attendee reactions cut for the show’s marketing and for each exhibitor.
Convention Highlight Reels
The recap that sells next year: opening session energy, the show floor, the rooftop terrace, downtown Denver at dusk. Cut for web, email and social.
Filming Denver’s Largest Venue
The Colorado Convention Center is 2.2 million square feet on 14th Street downtown: six exhibit halls of roughly 90,000 to 100,000 square feet each, about 100,000 square feet of meeting rooms, the 5,000-seat Bellco Theatre, the Mile High and Four Seasons ballrooms, and the newer rooftop terrace with downtown and mountain views. It hosts everything from the Great American Beer Festival and the auto show to national association conventions and graduations.
Video here is a logistics job before it’s a camera job. Halls are the length of a city block, sessions run in parallel across two levels, and exhibit floor lighting is built for booths, not faces. We plan camera positions and crew movement against your run of show, staff a dedicated multi-camera team on the general session, assign single operators to breakouts, and keep a roaming camera on the floor. Interviews get their own lit corner with wireless lavs so hall noise stays out of the audio. We coordinate with the building’s AV provider for house feeds and follow the venue’s load-in rules.
The Hyatt Regency across 14th Street and the Performing Arts Complex next door mean most convention programs spill into a second venue; one crew covers both. Downtown Denver is home base for us, so there is no travel line on the quote. See our conference video production page for keynote and highlight examples and our live event coverage for receptions and after-hours events.
