Conference Video Production at Gaylord Rockies
Keynote capture, highlight reels, exhibit hall coverage and breakout sessions for conferences and conventions at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora. A Denver-based crew, 20 minutes from the property, that scales from one camera to a full multi-room team.
What We Film at Gaylord Rockies
General Sessions & Keynotes
Two to four cameras on the Aurora Ballroom or Colorado Ballroom stage, clean audio from the house feed, each keynote edited into its own video with slides added in post.
Convention Highlight Reels
The recap that sells next year’s registration: opening session energy, the exhibit floor, receptions on the terrace, mountain views from the Grand Lodge. Cut for web and social.
Exhibit Hall & Breakouts
Roaming floor coverage and exhibitor clips in the exhibit hall, plus single-camera operators in as many concurrent breakout rooms as your agenda needs.
Shooting a 485,000 Square Foot Venue
Gaylord Rockies is the biggest conference property in Colorado: roughly 485,000 square feet of meeting space, 85 event rooms, an exhibit hall over 170,000 square feet and a main ballroom that seats more than 5,600. Add 1,500 guest rooms, the Grand Lodge atrium, outdoor terraces and a location six miles from Denver International Airport, and you get the venue that national associations and corporate groups pick when the whole conference lives under one roof.
For video, scale is the whole story. Sessions run in parallel across multiple floors, the walk from the exhibit hall to a breakout can take ten minutes, and the general session stage is built for an audience the size of a small arena. We staff it like that: a dedicated multi-camera team on the main stage, single operators assigned to breakout rooms, a roaming floor camera, and a lit interview corner for attendee and sponsor testimonials. We coordinate with the in-house AV provider for house audio feeds and camera positions, and plan movement between rooms against your run of show so nothing gets missed while the crew is in transit.
The property also gives you real b-roll: the atrium, the terraces at sunset, the Front Range behind the resort. Our FAA-certified pilots can add aerials of the resort and grounds when Gaylord and the airspace permit it. Aurora is inside our Denver metro service area, so there is no travel line on the quote. See our conference video production page for keynote and highlight examples, and our Aurora video production page for the wider area.
