Look One: The Cascading Side Braid
STEP 1: Part Your Hair To One Side + Curl
Part all of your hair to one side for a dramatic ‘do that’s both ethereal and a complete departure from the typical braid or wedding up-do. Curl all of your hair with a large barrel curling iron.
STEP 2: Begin Creating Your Three-Dimensional Braid
Next, tease your hair a bit to add thickness to your braid. Begin braiding a traditional French braid, but weaving the hair underneath (not over the top) to give your hair a 3D look.
Once you’ve reached just above your ear, begin introducing hair from the opposite side, until you’ve grabbed all of your hair into your braid. Add vertical pins to the bottom of your braid to hold your style in place (instead of an elastic band).
STEP 3: Widen Your Braid
Tug at your braid bit by bit to create fullness for a big, bold, loose braid. Pin any fringe pieces in place.

Look Two: Bold Braided Bun
STEP 1: Brush Front Section Into A High Half Pony
This style is very red carpet and something Jennifer Lopez might rock. Brush your front section into a very high ponytail. Brush all strands into place with an anti-static paddle brush and lightly apply anti-frizz. Create a loose braid.
STEP 2: Pin Your Braid To The Front
Pin braid frontwards to create volume and drama.
STEP 3: Repeat + Pin In Place
Brush a second pony, pin and repeat. Do the same with your final, third pony. Pin braids to form a round bun and widen all braids to create over-the-top fullness.
