Hilary Swank is heading down the aisle! The actress’ financial advisor and tennis coach boyfriend Ruben Torres popped the question earlier today with a stunning engagement ring and Swank, of course, said yes. But unlike Swank’s other A-list friends, the actress wasted no time announcing her new fiancé status.

“Went on a hike and this happened!” she captioned a selfie of the two of them (below) that she shared on Instagram. “I am so happy to announce the engagement to my dear Ruben.” We were so caught up in that picturesque mountain view we almost missed the most important part of that picture — her new ring! It looks like Torres proposed with a gorgeous emerald-cut emerald ring with a diamond halo set on a gold band. And we totally approve.

A source told People that Torres proposed to Swank over the weekend at the BNP Paribas Tennis Open in Palm Springs, adding that the two looked “happy and inseparable.” With a ring like that on her finger and a guy that gorgeous on her arm, it’s no wonder Swank looked so happy!

It looks like Torres hopped on the colored engagement ring trend following the likes of newly engaged A-lister Eva Longoria. (We’re still day dreaming about her jaw-dropping ruby ring with diamond accents.)

Because one adorable post-proposal picture isn’t enough, Swank also tweeted a photo of the two sharing a sweet smooch with the caption, “And then this happened… #sealedwithakiss”. We think the Million Dollar Baby actress just came up with the best use for that hashtag. There’s no better way to start your engagement than with a sweet selife kiss, right?

According to E!News, Swank and Torres started dating a little over a year ago in the summer of 2015 and they made their relationship red-carpet official that following December.

Obviously these two haven’t started wedding planning just yet, but we hope they’re just as open about their wedding details as they are about their proposal. With Swank constantly at the top of all the best-dressed lists we have no doubt that her wedding style will be totally killer.
